Come on the mighty Superson... Oh.
My team this year is the Jazz. Clippers, Pistons, Wolves, Bucks, and Sixers will be fun to watch too.
Is there anyone interested in Fantasy NBA? If there's 8 or so of us we could do a proper H2H league, we'd only need 6 for a Roto... Post if you're into that, and when you'd wanna do the live draft.
*awaits inevitable stream of "heat fans"*

I'm keen for fantasy. I am, nominally at least. But Jazz are my adopted team this year. Awesome, let's see how many we can get.

Results from the opening 2 days so far
Magic 87-97 Pacers Bulls 95-107 Heat Clippers 103-116 Lakers Nets 94-98 Cavaliers Heat 110-114 76ers Celtics 87-93 Raptors Wizard 102-113 Pistons Bucks 83-90 Bucks Bobcats 83-96 Rockets Magic 115-120 Timberwolves Pacers 95-90 Pelicans Hawks 109-118 Mavericks Grizzlies 94-101 Spurs Thunder 101-98 Jazz Nuggets 88-90 Kings Trail Blazers 91-104 Suns Lakers 94-125 Warriors
Massive first up wins for the Cavs and 76ers. Michael Carter Williams was just 1 steal or 3 rebounds away from joining Oscar Robertson as the only player to record a triple double on their NBA debut.
Also a decent debut from Dwight Howard with 17 pts and 26 rebounds.

Fairly sure Brett Brown is some sort of magician. Not only are the 76ers 3-0 but they've beaten the Bulls and the Heat to get there.

Anyone following this season?
Brooklyn Nets are 3-11
Spurs, Pacers & Heat clear favourites for mine at this stage.
OKC are missing a key scorer, Rockets need a good trade for Asik and more points out of Howard if they're a shot at the title. No idea what's going on with Golden State, I thought they'd be pushing us all season. Iguodala was a sensational pick up so I suspect they'll have another late push. Bulls are gone without Rose and it looks too similar a Clippers side for them to go further than last year. Portland at 12-2 is a bit bizzare and I suspect it won't last.

Been trying to keep up with it as best I can. Brooklyn are this years Lakers of 2012-13. So much talent but just not working well together. Golden State if they can get a top 4 seed are my pick to go to the finals from the Western Conference. Portland are a young team on the rise and should make the playoffs and the Bulls will be the same as last year competitive but not enough star power to really threaten. Miami v Indiana is all but a lock for the Eastern Conference finals and I'll go with Spurs v GSW for the Western Conference. Hopefully my Celtics can keep tanking it out and take any of Wiggins, Parker, Randle or Exum in the draft [-o<

Can't help but wonder what if with D Rose. Doctors cleared him to play in March. I think he should have played 10-15 mins a game and who knows what would have happened against Miami. The losses of Robinson, Hamilton and Bellinelli (who has been fantastic for us - cheers Bulls!) have really hurt them IMO and perhaps even with Rose this season there best shot may have been for him to at least play a part role in last seasons play offs. shiva wrote:Miami v Indiana is all but a lock for the Eastern Conference finals and I'll go with Spurs v GSW for the Western Conference. East will be Miami and Indiana. Will take Lebron getting injured for it to be anything else. Wests Finals should be Spurs and any one of OKC/Rockets/GSW. For me, all those three have their issues which is why I put Spurs most likely to be there at the end.
