While i was Watching the Under 17 Youth World Cup between Japan and Venezuela was from from the U17 Japanese technique of players shows why they are strong in this department.

And Something they do really well and often is control & move ball with the toes. Why important?

Controlling/moving with toes gives a player a greater immediate passing range (180°). Using the instep/midfoot reduces that range.

Esp. in high-tempo pressing game, using toes/high forefoot allows more time to find ‘right’ pass/don’t need to turn away from opponent.

This is why the Japanese are so advanced technically to not just us but even to its south american compatriots too.

This is why they have great ball control in those tight areas, they are comfortable playing in those spaces with both of there feet as well have the ability to play 1 touch every time in any area of the pitch.

My question does the FFA recognise this in the NC? as to why are behind technically to Japan and the like? Will they incorporate something like this in our training methodology if they haven't recognised it?
