i was wondering how many a league clubs have hosted a sell out and how many times.

i know wanderers are on their 6th straight sell out this week against AU.

Adelaide v Victory was a sellout, and the Melbourne Derby at Etihad came close, if you consider Medalion Club members and stuff.

I think the Mariners have sold out 3 times..

once in season 3
Once in season 8
Once in season 9

Most clubs have sold out at some point. I dunno if Brisbane ever have?

Melbourne Victory plays at AAMI and Etihad.
Neither stadium can reach capacity because of control measures such as tarping, allocated member seating for Heart,medallion clubs , away members etc but certainly there have been many occasions where "technical" sellouts have occurred

I'm almost certain Newcastle Hunter Stadium sold out in 2007 against SFC in the second leg final before being knocked out on penalties against Adelaide

Are we talking normal season games and/or finals?

Seem to remember going to a semi at bluetongue that was either sold out or pretty bloody close to it. Bluetongue is only around 20k capacity though, yeah? I assume the last two times they've sold out was when the RBB came to town?

Technical sell outs are not that uncommon.
