Brewer pretty much said we aren't getting a technical director and that it was a team effort in keeping Glory players, the host or w.e. then goes on to say that Brewer did say he had a big part in keeping Vukavic( which brewer didn't answer because he wasn't directly asked), the interviewer then says that Brewer has to protect his club and that SST were right and that smart people have realised that and the gutless ones who had a cheap shot should go back to their sperm bank.

First time ive heard these guys, the whole first 18 minutes was chest pumping, very arrogant show I suppose would define it.

I think we should make an effort to continue to give them shit on every post on FB.

Jason Brewer the Perth Glory CEO went on their show, he didn't like what was said after he left the call apparently, waiting for the podcast to come out to see what happened.

That's because nothing legitimate they post is an exclusive.

As they say, their record speaks for itself.

They didn't claim it was a scoop or an exclusive... They were simply posting the news.

But he's not going from playing straight into coaching, years have passed since then.

His communication will be fine, he has the locker room, the man knows how to manage players.

Davies is a lock in as assistant . The ither guy mentioned (forgot his name ) doesn't have the right badges or something

Communication shouldn't be an issue. Man has been an assistant coach for more than 2 seasons. He was an assistant coach and player under Merrick. This season was the beginning of his 3rd as a full time assistant coach.

I just hope that he has Davies as his assistant.

Here's hoping Muskie has a great assistant coach to be his sounding board . Hheard he doesn't think he isn't ready

Just in general I don't think it's the best option for a former player/ club legend to go straight from playing for the club into coaching that team. I feel the same about aloisi. Coaching is very different to playing, you need to work out what works for you and develop your communication style and techniques, this I don't believe can be done in a couple of seasons working at the same club.

It also makes it a lot harder/ awkward to sack the coach if they aren't up to standard.

( it happened here in Brisbane in the afl, the club legend went straight from playing into coaching, now this year after 5 or so years in charge he was sacked after not really making an impact, he probably would have been sacked years ago had it not been for the fact he was a club legend.

Well if sloppy sausage said it, it must be true.

This seems to be a common, unsubstantiated, opinion. Why?

This won't end well, I don't think he's up to the job. Luckily he has such a strong squad.
