I'm glad the awards thread was deleted. Without providing his password to the voting public, the thread was heading towards another afromanGT designed rort.

I'm all for fascism, but deleting the awards thread? Rough.

It would seem that a bit of good natured fun is frowned upon. I can understand that the more negative "awards" could be seen as a bit of a bad thing, but they're no different to the awards we had in 2011 and 2012 without incident (aside from notorganic's shit fit after the winners were announced last year).

Well, their computers have these things called keyboards, where they can press buttons to make letters come up on the screen, these letters can be used to form words which they can in turn use to inform us of their agreement with the original statement. Pretty wacky concept really, but I think it might just catch on.

As for 'they', again, there's only one mod who has deleted the award thread because of quote pyramids... Not me, and Joffa has denied he did it... So be careful which names you put up.

In my opinion, quote pyramids, like oversized pictures, are a pain in the arse, but not worth deleting a thread or banning a user (unless its a repeat offender)... That said, I suspect if the thread was deleted it's more likely to be for comments made rather than quote pyramids.

This forum is chronically under moderated and I find claims of over moderation quite laughable. The thread deserved to be deleted and its replacement should be as well as they clearly break the forum rules as one of the main aims.
