Dear Batfink, do you suffer from a disability? Are you on drugs of any kind? Don't worry, the FFT forums are here to tell you to fuck off.

If you go out into your back yard on Christmas eve at about 10pm you can hear parents all over the neighbourhood swearing at instructions and struggling to put things together. One year my old man & I spent legit 3 hours putting together this trampoline for my niece & nephew. It took about an hour to initially put it together incorrectly, then 2 hours to pull it apart and re-assemble it. I still blame my sister for throwing the outer-casing instructions away by mistake. EDIT: should we spoiler alert these last few posts for Fulhamkid? Edited by pv4: 19/12/2013 03:03:51 PM He's 14 now isn't he? He had to find out sooner or later. I've done the trampoline, swing set + slide, bikes and trikes and this year we have a sea saw, a wooden sand pit and a water and sand table. Glad I got that gazebo for free, gonna need it with all the outside play to be had! are they any worse than IKEA instructions??????

Ok well i am really happy that my eldest son returns from Afghanistan Saturday Morning, so really the festivities will start pretty much then......we are having one of our heritage freerange pork sucking pigs on the spit on christmas day and all my family come to our house, boxing day is recover day and we watch the sydney hobart and the test cricket,we have a few locals who don't have families come to christmas day to feel apart of it all, sad for some people to be alone on this day.....some don't want to come so i package up some bits and pieces and drop in and give that to them, so far each year i have accumulated extra's, can't imagine what it would be like to be alone on christmas day, being from such a large family and it being standard to share everything we have with anyone and everyone.....
peace love and mung beans people;)

Having dinner on Christmas Eve at ours, and then having lunch at my aunts house on Christmas Day, after which my cousin will leave to get drunk with his mates.

I don't really have many Christmas plans anymore, not much family left. One of my brother's is in Japan, me and the other brother are having a quiet dinner at my Dad's home. It's just a day to remember our parents really.

milan_7 wrote:Will probably go to the cemetery at some point too, my nana died on Christmas Day a few years ago. Read a sad story the other day by a nurse about an elderly patient who was on his last legs but refused to go before midnight because he didn't want to ruin that Cristmas and future ones for his family. He wasn't going to make it so the nurse wound the clock forward six hours when he wasn't looking and he went peacefully just after "midnight", and he made sure the death certificate read the same. It was on the internet, so probably fake.

You'd think at least on Christmas, my aunt would be able to force him to stay at least till the evening, but no.
