been there, its like any foreign country really... learn a bit of spanish and avoid the ghettos and youll be fine.

if you prefer a little ahhh chemical enhancements... its better to go through your hostel than walking the streets and asking around. especially in colombia.

the women are hit or miss, but picking up a hot one can be met with a bit of jealousy from the local gentlemen. they arent huge on gringos poaching their bitches.
