Hey guys,
I know a lot of you guys on here are technology savvy, something I am distinctively not.
I'm shopping for a new laptop for uni + some gaming. I'm not too fussed on brands and design, but I have next to no clue what specs are good and what aren't. If anyone could suggest a model, perhaps even the one you use, then that would be greatly appreciated.
Price limit is $1,000 to $1,200.
Thank heaps in advance for any help you can give me \:d/

Don't buy anything that is under i5 that is a basic. Your better off buying a desktop IMO

Buy a PS4 and spend the remaining dosh on an i3, you should get one for around $500. Who plays games on computers these days? :?

Make sure whatever you end up getting is comfortable enough to carry around uni all day, people always seem to forget this.

I just can't fathom sitting behind a desk two inches away from you monitor hunched over the keyboard mashing the static keyboard and mouse which are clearly designed for clerical purposes when you can lay back in your comfy lounge, switch on the huge LED and get the same gameplay experience without burning holes in your eyeballs or throwing your back out. If you're going to plug it into your tele and use a controller just buy a fuggin console! Only nostalgia and graphic obsessed weirdos play games on PC these days.

I think we've learned from rusty's other posts that common sense is often an afterthought.
