Personally if we don't get an ex NSL team, then i'd like to go somewhere that would be a interesting away trip. Last year was fairly shit with Perth, Canberra and Perth Glory. Drawing a team from Tasmania, the NT or regional Queensland would be good fun.

if it's a HAL team WSW & Victory thanks. If its a state league side I would love to play anywhere away. South Melbourne is appealing, if they get through. Or a team from Adelaide.

As long as Victory gets a game inside Victoria and doesn't get knocked out by cap cheats this year, I'll be happy.
On that note, I imagine the cap won't count for FFA Cup games, which means a little more gametime for any AFC players the ACL qualified teams may chose to sign.

Really am hoping one of or both Mandurah City and South West Phoenix from Bunbury qualify from Western Australia. Hasn't checked the semi final pairings yet but if Mandurah City gets to the round of 32 and draws an A-league opponent I would hope it would be played at Hyundai Stadium but it would be good for the game down in South West of WA.
Out of SA Adelaide City should make the round of 32 and join NPL champions Metrostars as South Australia's Representatives.

Would love a game against Olympic. An away trip to Townsville for the Fury if they get in would be amazing too. If Balmain gets an A-League team, they need to hold it at Leichhardt Oval.

Isn't there a team from NT this year? Yep. I'd love to see another big WSW style cup set again. SFC vs Olympic wouldn't mind seeing Melb Croatia vs Syd Croatia

Would West Tigers allow that? They don't own the ground. Leichhardt Council do. Tigers mightn't be playing at Leichhardt Oval for much longer. Essentially Balmain Tigers RLFC is broke, thanks to the Rozelle Village shitfight which has left Balmain Leagues club closed for the last 6 or 7 years, and Wests don't want to pick up their bill. Wests Tigers - at least the Balmain side of it - are pretty screwed financially. Being shit on-field for the last 5-6 years hasn't helped the situation. I really hope they don't stop playing at Leichhardt, but the situation isn't good at the moment. Having said that - David Tratkevenko could do worse than buy it, fix it up, and move our training base/academy there. \:d/ \:d/ \:d/

Wests Tigers are a merger between Balmain Tigers and Western Suburbs Magpies (South-Western Sydney, Campbelltown, etc) back in '98-99. Western Suburbs have connections to the Inner-West of Sydney, when places like Ashfield and Burwood were Western Sydney 100 years ago. Balmain is in the Inner-West, but you call us Westies, and I'll put anthrax in condiment bowls around your house. ;)

It's a real shame South Melbourne & Melbourne Knights are playing off in the qualification again. Image those two in a semi final.
