the match has to be at Ilinden, if not whats the point of the cup.

Only problem that Rockdale could face is the lighting requirements....

That's the only reason I could see the game being moved, maybe Kolner could tell us whether is passes "A-League" team requirements, Rockdales chances would increase a lot more playing out at Ilinden.

It sounded to to me not so much not thrilled at playing them, but not knowing a lot about Olympic.

I honestly think Olympic will provide a much sterner test for them than Brisbane Strikers did. Admittedly I didn't see their game against Brisbane, I just feel Olympic's defence will be much stronger. Would be surprised if Hume win, TBH.

Brisbane's defence was very well organized with little space between the midfield and the defence to work with. Choked the life out of the game for the most part, outside of the two goals they got in regular time Hume rarely looked like scoring (final pass was almost always cut out). Will be interesting to see how Hume deal with more of an attacking threat (Strikers threats were almost exclusively on the counter-attack and from free-kicks).

Wow and I was thinking it would be roughly $100,000. I was way off. With that cost I guess it's safe to say no lower level state league club will have the money to get them fitted without the help from anyone else.

Apparently it is only costing them $5,000 a game to have it played there which is a bargain. Fuck they've been so lucky to be drawn at home on so many occasions.

Probably because they're only opening 1 side of the stadium. Much like Clive Palmer did, and thus cutting down on the extra bullshit costs that Stadiums Queensland enforces upon tenements.

Fun FFA cup stats for all you statisticians out there. I'll post these into the OP now, for further reference. I'll post all the Ro16 stuff in there later today. :)

2014 Round of 32 total crowd: 30,945. Av. 1,945 people per game.

2015 Round of 32 total crowd: 38,850. Av. 2,428 people per game.

7,905 more people attended 2015 Round of 32.

Highest Crowd in 2014: 5,238 – South Coast Wolves (NPL NSW) 0-1 Central Coast Mariners (A-League) @ WIN Stadium, Wollongong NSW.

Highest Crowd in 2015: 6,111 – Central Coast Mariners (A-League) 0-1 Wellington Phoenix (A-League) @ Central Coast Stadium, Gosford NSW.

Lowest Crowd in 2014: 624 – Blacktown City Demons (NPL NSW) 0-1 Bentleigh Greens (NPL Victoria) @ Lily Homes Stadium, Seven Hills NSW.

Lowest Crowd in 2015: 350 – Sydney United 58 (NPL NSW) 1-1 [SU58 win 3-1 on pens] South Hobart FC (NPL Tasmania) @ Sydney United Sports Centre, Edensor Park NSW.

Both of the highest crowds for 2014 & 2015 were recorded on the final match day (MD4) of the Round of 32.

Both highest recorded crowds had the Central Coast Mariners (A-League) playing, and were played in New South Wales.

Both the lowest recorded crowds had NSW NPL clubs participating at home.
Sydney United now hold the lowest recorded crowd in the FFA Cup with 350. This is lower than their first every FFA Cup match against Far North Queensland Heat @ Sydney United Sports Centre which drew 750 attendees. The match against FNQ Heat was also played in ‘near monsoonal’ conditions, with drenching rain throughout the duration of the game. The game vs South Hobart was played in dry, crisp, and chilly conditions, however drew 400 attendees less.

2014 FFA Cup Round of 32 goals scored: 42 (@ 2.625 goals per game)

2015 FFA Cup Round of 32 goals scored: 56 (@ 3.5 goals per game)

You have Sizzler in Sydney. This must be added to the agenda of the October m80 trip.

Sizzler has gone downhill... or maybe its just memories as a kid.

Based on Heine's stats, CCM have the best support in the FFA cup :)
