I know it's a long shot, but are there ever any streams of these games that pop up? Wouldn't mind watching the Adelaide City/West Adelaide derby for example.

With South Coast Wolves and Olympic making the last 32, there is 2 decent Stadiums that are potentially going to be used, which got me thinking we will more than likely see A-League teams playing on synthetic grass and how will they deal with it.

Sydney United have a decent ground, and both West Adelaide or City would provide adequate facilities.

This season, West Adelaide is playing at Adelaide Shores, which is a new facility with a synthetic pitch. It has reasonable spectator facilities. Adelaide City's ground isn't much more than a fence around a pitch, 2 benches & an adjacent building for changerooms. No stands or even hills, really. e: unless they want to play games at Hindmarsh or something... Edited by dsriggs: 22/5/2014 05:42:52 PM

That'd be boring. I travel the state for food and a small club atmosphere.

Half of the FFA Cup entrants have now been confirmed. 16 spots still up for grabs for non-A-League clubs.

I'm hoping Sydney United and Brisbane Strikers both qualify and draw each other. 1997 Grand Final replay!

Hey, you guys are doing a brilliant job updating this, really enjoying keeping up with it. Do you think we could keep it to one thread rather than two?

The state league thread is a lot better than this one. Lots of game day commentary.

Amazing we still have clubs that want to call themselves Olympic or Hellenic etc. Just as amazing some want to call themselves SC as in Soccer Club. Back to the future!

The state league thread is fine for what it is - discussion on the qualification side of things. Once everybody's qualified, then this thread can boom.
