Yeah it actually gives people without Fox an option to watch a game. Two of the smallest clubs in the competition so it will be an interesting and intriguing match to watch.

I am still wondering why there are not more streams going up by clubs for their FFA Cup matches, perhaps FFA itself should have arranged these things.

Yeah I reckon the Magic vs Strikers game last week was about 500, good enough but nothing special. 800 Lux is enough for a good quality Standard Definition broadcast and for HD you would want about 1100-1200. But 500 Lux is the minimum for a professional footballer to play a competitive match according to the Australian Standard, whether it's broadcast or not.

500 lux is not the requirement for TV broadcast, thats only a playing standard. Leichardt Oval is 500 lux but for NRL they need to bring it up over a 1000 for broadcast. Of course thats for a quality broadcast you could get away with 500 but 200 lux would be really dingy.

One of the suburban grounds the Wolves sometimes play at is called Macedonia Park. It's just renamed Hooka Creek Park whenever it's mentioned somewhere.

Some truth to that, but the system is not a good one. It's a fuck up from the FFA half arsed solution from Football NSW after they only got 7 spots after expecting 8. If we have to use state cups as the qualifiers then the format of these cups means states should only get 1,2,4 or 8 qualifiers so we don't have to deal with this shit. Otherwise separate the FFA Cup from the State cups and have it's own qualifiers to allow a bit of flexibility.

If that was the case, all games would have to be played at venues that met professional standards, and almost every game would end up having to be shifted as very few suburban grounds meet professional playing lighting standards. There are probably insurance ramifications if a professional player got injured playing a competitive match at a ground whose lighting did not meet the Australia Standard.

Yes they do. They played the system they were dealt with. Its the FFA that can't count.

Yeah, I think the FFA initially mistakenly approved it, but it looks like the Professional Players Association have said we're not playing there, it doesn't meet the Australian Standards for Lighting for a competitive match. It would have probably still been used if Stirling or Bayswater had drawn against non a-league teams, as Macedonia Park would meet the standards for semi-professional competitive matches.

I can't stand Dinamo but I agree, Parra have no right to be in this competition.
