Confirmation that Stirling Lions v Brisbane Roar will be live streamed on Brisbane Roar's website:

Brisbane Roar can confirm there will be a live stream on the club’s website for tomorrow night’s Westfield FFA Cup match against Stirling Lions.
The Round of 32 fixture between the reigning Hyundai A-League Champions and the National Premier Leagues (NPL) team will be shown on www.brisbaneroar.com.au from 9.30pm AEST.

“The Westfield FFA Cup has proved very popular in it’s early stages and we wanted to ensure our members and fans had the ability to watch this historic match for our club,” Managing Director Sean Dobson.

“We worked closely with Football West and Football Federation Australia for this outcome and we’re looking forward to an exciting encounter against the Lions.”

Kick-off against Stirling Lions is tomorrow, Tuesday, 19 August at 9.30pm AEST (7.30pm local Perth time) at Western Australia Athletics Stadium.

This may have been answered, if not can someone explain why Hakoah is ok, yet Croatia is a problem? And trust me I think the cros have a bigger chip than anyone, but on the surface it seems there are double standards.

It's got nothing to do with it being Lowy's club or any kind of Jewish conspiracy. Hakoah are not in breach of the NCIP as they are an existing club not changing their name. They were not playing in the NSL when some of the other clubs were forced to change their names and this policy didn't apply to State League clubs at the time.
Just as there would be no issue if Fremantle Croatia or Gwelup Croatia had qualified for the FFA Cup, but both were knocked out in the early stages of qualifying in WA. There are still plenty of clubs around the country with names referencing foreign countries, clubs or identities. The FFA has no problem (currently) with these clubs sticking with the current names.

Yeah, Lowy is completely comparable to Thatcher.

Don't get me wrong, Frank is far from perfect, but that is an absolutely moronic viewpoint. No surprise in any case.

I'm guessing he meant match days for the Rd of 16. I can't see them broadcasting all Rd of 16 the games. I assume they'll do the same coverage they did for the first match day of the Rd of 32, broadcast one and give updates on the others.

They have to broadcast all games from the quarters onwards to make sure they hit the 10 game minimum that is in the contract.
