Is it fair too say alot of players will leave the HAL after the WC to explore their options beit in Europe or just to make more cash in Asia ? obviously alot of players came home this season to put themselves in the shop window so there's a possibility they'll all go back

Curious to know, do you ever write a positive comment on the HAL?

Curious as to what you base this on?

There's a number of players who've come home this year because (a) they aren't good enough for Europe, or (b) they don't like living in Asia/Asian clubs have realized that overpaying for an Aussie may not be the greatest idea of all time.

In the meantime, any player good enough to get a deal in Europe (Sainsbury, Vidosic, Bozanic, etc.) isn't waiting for the world cup before leaving.

In short, business as usual.

i can see a lot staying on for a season or two, definitely the griffiths bros are here to stay. bosnar will retire here og as well. they still have the asia cup the year after, so if they came back for the wc they will stay for the asia squad.

Nope. I can't see them all going. Most of these guys have now cashed up, and won't head back to Asia if they haven't really enjoyed it.

Hopefully we see some more younger blokes head off to Europe, but I can't see a mass exodus.

Out of curiosity, who has actually come home by choice?
