It'd be so fucking typical of our club to do something like this and just release him. He'd be a great replacement for Contreras at the Tards. But I really hope we don't just let him go at seasons end. I'll be ropeable. Just as we get a good CB pairing, and some form of solid partnership at the back 4, release one of our best defenders.

Come on Farina, here next season or not, throw him a 2-year contract.

Refresh my memory, what did you do to him?

He trailed for Merrick years ago when he was in the Victorian Premier League, but we did't sign him, and he went to Adelaide.

I'm not as sure as some that he'd hold a grudge for that for so long, but I have no evidence to the contrary.

Given that EM is long gone at MV, I am not sure he would hold the grudge still but I guess some may :)

I am not sure what JVS would be thinking for his defense next year. Would he fit into the MCFC plan? No idea.

Got to see him (briefly) for the first time in the HAL last night. Was really impressed with what I saw (I was in and out of the room).

Any team in the HAL would be crazy to say no to him, assuming the bits I saw of him was how he is in general in this league.

Really? I thought it was one of his poorer games since he's been back. Got skinned way too easily for the first and last goals IMO.
