And therein lies the problem. Word is both Griff & Carney want to stay but the club want to sort the coach out before doing so. The plan is to formally announce the confirmed coach within 3-4 weeks.

I think he would fit in well at the jets. They should definitely re sign griffiths and carney they have been very good.

I don't think it'd be beneficial for Newcastle to re-sign Heskey. 1 goal this season? If he had scored the 10 odd goals he scored last year I'd say it was worth it, but I get the feeling he's going to retire anyway, that or see if he can get a gig in League 1 or 2 back in England.

Flores is really starting to become an A-League journeyman if this has any substance to it. In saying that I can't see theMariners re-signing him. Aren't his wages currently being paid for by the Victory? Shame he couldn't stay fit for the Mariners this season. I can see our board trying to sign him for a ridiculous amount of money as a replacement for ADP. I think he'd be wasted at Sydney. Especially should he get injured.

Heskey has been immense since GVE has left. Absolutely killed it. Would personally love to see him re-sign.

CCM have already released Flores, they did it weeks ago.

MV paid 250k of his wage & CCM were paying 150k to get to the 400k total he was on at MV as their marquee. There was no "loan" deal though, as MV released him. I daresay it was a 250k payout more than anything.
