really? what do you base that on? Nothing to see here, Comrade Ricecrackers. no really? you think Russia is more totalitarian than when it was the Soviet Union? you prefer it then when millions were exterminated? Hell no. But just because it isn't as bad as it was pre-1991 doesn't mean it's ok. For all of Putin's talk about democracy, Russia still behaves like a totalitarian dictatorship to its people and neighbours. But if it makes you feel better, Stalin was far worse. Which is like saying you'd make a better husband than Geoffrey Dahmer. I really dont think you know what you're talking about. You're just parroting the line of the lunatic John Kerry. which is interesting considering his feelings toward Israel Me? I can't stand Kerry. But that still doesn't make Putin right. ...about what?

like stealing candy from a baby Quote: Quoting Winston Churchill’s criticism of Islam contributes to U.K. politician’s arrest By Douglas Ernst -The Washington Times Tuesday, April 29, 2014
Quoting Winston Churchill’s opinions on Islam contributed to a U.K. politician’s arrest — and possible imprisonment of up to two years.
Paul Weston, chairman of the party Liberty GB, was making a speech Saturday outside the Winchester Guildhall in Hampshire, when he quoting the famous prime minister, the Independent reported. After a member of the public complained, Mr. Weston was subsequently arrested for religious harassment when he did not comply with officers’ orders to leave the area. The text that contributed to Mr. Weston’s arrest came from Churchill’s book “The River of War: An Account of the Reconquest of the Sudan,” written by the former prime minister in 1899 during his time as an Army officer in Sudan. Mr. Weston read the following passage, among others, by Mr. Churchill, the Blaze reported: “The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities – but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith.” © Copyright 2014 The Washington Times, LLC. Click here for reprint permission.

Australia is not much better at Human Rights and Discrimination at the moment either. Go and check Victoria's Criminal Disclosure policy as opposed to the rest of the country's Laws. I didn't create the below thread for no reason. http://au.fourfourtwo.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=88699Even our own code has Discrimination issues that still may end up in court: http://au.fourfourtwo.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=90954Edited by wamackie: 1/5/2014 03:23:51 PM

Dont think any person in their right mind would want to pick Saudi Arabia over Norway as a place to live in LMAO +1 No offence but Saudi Arabia should be talking about intolerance to other religions or people.

It's not that bad. The UN asked countries to comment on and provide recommendation on Norway's human rights record and practices. Whether right or wrong, they took up the invitation to provide input, which in itself seems a good process.
