I absolutely love that kid. He's a reincarnation of Ljubo & Spira.
Him getting game time anywhere >>>>> being misused at my own club TBH

Probably my favourite young defender, and seeing him under JVS will be good. At every possible chance, he's impressed me more than Curtis Good, so hopefully he can get back on track and head overseas ASAP.

Every time I've seen them play together, to me Chapman has been the standout. This may be a vintage claim for me to say, but IMO if Chapman wasn't in such a shitty HAL team and was given a starting position each week at, say, Adelaide or MV or Roar - he would be considered the best bet to partner Spira at the World Cup in Brazil.

Best young defender in the country in my opinion in the last 5 years, he would fit in well at the Heart/City due to the style of football that JVS wants to install, best ball playing CB since Ljubo, great future in the game if he develops well, he still only 19.
I can see him as potential bolter for 2018 if we qualify.
Never understood why Zane continued to leave him out, perhaps some conflict of interest here?

Zane didn't want to tread on too many toes, wanted to keep it simple, and because he was a striker himself and didn't have a lot of defensive help just wanted a more experienced CB partnership during his brief spell. He chose Jaliens & Mitchell as his starters, and to their credit they performed exceptionally well - too good to warrant being dropped. It was still an outrage Chapman wasn't played IMO, but I understand why he did it.

Oh yeah, that Devere guy. Does he still play football?
No-one remembers anything about him because he hasn't played in the last 2 years...

No-one remembers anything about him because he hasn't played in the last 2 years... It's disappointing how it's gone for him since leaving Brisbane. I dare say had he got a deal in the a league this season he would be on the plane to Brazil.
