He's a backup centreback, nothing more. Was ok, but made a lot of mistakes and can pass the ball about as well as an inanimate carbon rod. If the Jets are stupid enough to offer a 3 year deal to a player who hasn't been able to cement a first team spot for the past 4 years then good luck to him for taking it.

It'd be kinda dog to leave Sydney after they saved his career, and established him as an A-League player for the second time. This will be the second time he' done well for us only to have his stability put on the back burner. Can't blame him for accepting an alternate offer when there was no guarantee any was going to be put forward by us. Right now we're ripe for predatory attacks by other clubs on players we haven't re-signed. As things stand, we could lose Jurman, Dimitrijevic, Garcia, Despotovic and Chianese. The longer we take to appoint a coach the worse it'll get, just like in 2012. We'll lose good players again and be pushing it uphill trying to replace them. And if/when that happens, don't blame the players, blame those running the club. Edited by thupercoach: 7/5/2014 10:49:36 PM

This, always fond of him, even in his first stint with us. Definitely improved as the season went on. Hopefully with the signing of Arnold, he might be prepared to stay. Although it all depends if Arnold now wants him. I daresay we're going to see a rather large broom put through the squad.

He was signed to a 1 year contract and I believe proved himself in the eyes of Farina and the fans. Then the boardroom clowns got rid of Farina and all the off-contract players are in a state of flux. Despotovic is already rumoured to be gone as he wasn't prepared to wait around and Jurman can't be expected to hang around forever, especially if the Jets throw a two year contract at him. If Jurman goes, don't blame the player.
