Those squads are right. The only squad that isn't yet finalised is ours (besides Belgium having four keepers)

Ours will be announced before 9pm so we'll be good to go!

OK. Less than 4 hours until we start.

We've all been involved in a few of these and we've seen how quickly it can descend into a shitfight.

With that in mind -

Your bid will NOT be accepted if you have not :

1. Put the player(s) you are bidding on in bold
2. Quoted the entire list of previous bids from most recent post.

Of course we understand if you have posted 10 seconds after a previous list and are missing stuff from there, but for most situations, this is the rule we shall be following. Otherwise bids get lost and we have shitfights later.

Auctions will run for 3 days from the time of the first bid. When this period has expired, if there have been no bids in the last 12 hours, the player is sold. If there HAS been a bid in the last 12 hours, the expiration gets pushed back until there has been a 12 hour period where there have been no bids. Same as FEPL. It's really not that difficult.

Minimum raise is 0.5m. Minimum opening bid is 1m

You are allowed a MAXIMUM OF 5 PLAYERS. If you end up with 6 players you will lose 2 competition points and have to return a player to the pool. You don't want that, so be careful.

You can at NO point be bidding on the market to a total of more than 20m (You can't have two bids of 12m running simultaneously, for example). If you do, most recent bid will be wiped and given back to whoever held him previously.

The ones who aren't final yet are Cameroon, Australia, Colombia, Ivory Coast, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Argentina, Iran Germany, Bosnia, Algeria and Russia. They should all be finalised by tomorrow 9pm.

So, we should be good to start the draft at 9PM TOMORROW NIGHT. Put it in the diary!

I'm just going by the BBC group summaries... they update them once squads move from provisional to final.

Not being a pain at all.

Irrespective of how many players you lose from elimination, you will pick up one player (as will everyone else)

Just means that in the horrible situation that all 5 players you have are knocked out you have at least one player.

After the second elimination you pick up two new players, and after the third two new players as well.

Read the first post for rules on how you pick up new players:

The teams that progress will each nominate ONE player (first cut) or TWO players (second and third cuts) who was either a free agent, or a member of a fantasy team that has been eliminated. After we have all players nominated, I will assign a random word to each of them, and we will then choose a word each to be rewarded with one of the players from the pool (first in, first served). Essentially a random draw but a little bit more entertaining.

This adds an interesting element too - if you want to, you can nominate a shitty player and hope you don't get them. Or you can all nominate good ones.

My bad. I just re-read the euro rules link. You can pick up 1 player. Is that only if you lose a player (ie replacement for a player from a team eliminated) or is it now a squad of 6?

Just so I'm 100% on this comp.

There will only be 80 players used (16x5) and there is no adding/swapping from your squad after it's selected.

Say for instance no-one selects Josh Kennedy (inconceivable I know?). Once we inevitably qualify for the Ro16 he cannot be picked up even though he'll be on track for the Golden Shoe...??

Really hard group for me, but I think I have a hope of progressing.
