England is not going to win a game in the wc and will finish bottom. Italy did enough to win with plenty left in the tank. how many england players go down with cramp in that game? Englands tactics are is not suited for players in these conditions.

Uruguay on top so far and Suarez is looking fit. Sterling has had no impact at all too.

Rooney extremly close with his free kick, muslera was beaten.

England seem to have always been held back by their inability to be adventurous both in their overall squad selection and in their selection of a match day 11. Welbeck, Baines, Henderson all shouldn't have played this game after their performances last game. Gareth Barry had to be in the squad, had a better season than Henderson and Wilshere, other power nations just don't play midfielders as unispiring as these two. Jagielka has been poor both games now, but who are they going to replace him with? Smalling? Jones? Both terrible. Should have taken Ryan Shawcross or Curtis Davies, two players actually coming off great individual seasons. Too much of a big club mentality about this squad, the problem being that these England players are not amongst the best players at the big clubs in the Premier league, they are the 8th, 9th, 10th best players at their clubs, hell some don't start regularly for their clubs. I simply don't believe they are a strong enough side to be a success at this world cup.
