The connection with ISIS never occured to me. The black and white of NZ as their sporting colours are world famous; everybody's heard of the All Blacks even in countries that don't have rugby. I definitely think that they should go with one of the designs that feature these colours.

Isn't the silver fern, meant to be just that, Silver? It's also a plant, and doesn't have Arabic writing on it. You're also very unlikely to have a Kiwi yelling death against America, and beheading people whilst waving a silver fern flag around. Mind you, it would have been a much more light hearted event if Man Monis had asked for a silver fern instead of an ISIS flag during the Sydney seige. I mean instead of everybody freaking the fuck out thinking we were under attack, we would have gone about our everyday business just thinking 'fucking nutcase kiwis'. :lol:

Americans are simple, and if NZ chose the plain silver fern flag they would complain about it. Remember that so called ISIS flag with the dildos on it? I think the silver fern is easily the best flag.
