I understand the need for advertising (hence the top and both sides covered in ads) but the latest advertising is completely intrusive. You start scrolling the thread suddenly everything jumps down and it starts playing.

Advertising has ruined the Internet

its a commercial site that makes its money selling ads and promoting video games
you're not paying to use it, what do you expect?

if you want to talk about football and other issues unimpeded for free then choose a non-commercial forum

I don't mind ads, I know there's a need for revenue and I don't use adblock for this reason but this particular idea is far too intrusive. Having it magically appear as you scroll through is irritating. Would much rather it just stay there (though this one is a pretty big one). More importantly, the audio is very annoying especially if youre just scrolling down the page and hover!

Don't get a single advertisement anywhere. The only time I remember this forum has advertisements is when I'm posting on my GFs laptop.
