Why is one obligated to support them?

Never was much of a fan of Hewitt but at least he works hard so he fits the category. Quade Cooper is another one. Only form 10 Australia had for a while. Can change a game with his talent but definitely dumb as dogshit, frustratingly inconsistent and struggles to work with any sort of structured gameplan. Any Socceroo who played for Rangers got on my nerves as well and there were a few of them. Moore, McKay, Vidmar, Mitchell and Muscat. I actively hope Tomic loses though. I couldn't care if he's Australian, that doesn't stop him being a kunt.

I think Hewitt has grown up a lot. Was a total brat, but he leads a fairly quiet private life these days.

I dont know about you Joffa, but I dont need the media telling me who I should support.
Either you cant think for yourself Joff, or your just trying to get your post count up.

Respect for Joffa down several notches. Steve Waugh. You disgust me that you only 'supported him out of obligation'. The man is a god.
WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

I did it with Sasho Petrovski at the Jerks, but then I actually grew to love him.
Can't stand Tomic one bit, don't even feel obliged to support him.

I don't support any one sports icon for any reason other than my own passion. why would I support a team/person because they're Australian? I don't particularly like most sports but those such as Tennis I only watch for the pure skill of the best so Andy Murray and his ilk get my attention, I quite like boxing and Danny Green is someone I respect but Mundine will never get my support no matter if he is representing Aus or not. I don't care for Car racing and you can add League, International Aussie rules, Cricket and Basketball to that list.
I am happy to hear the Wallabies win but felt bad for France as I think they're gun.
All in all, who cares, there is no national identity connected with supporting your nation through Sport and it isn't worth the hassle trying to care.
