The Dutch will be very disappointed. They have an expectation much higher than Australia and it must be increasingly frustrating for them to also get so close.

The only team to be really effective against this formation of the Dutch was Australia maybe down to the power and pace of Leckie.

180 minutes plus extra time of Quarter & Semi Final football with the attacking force of Robben & RVP and they could not kick a goal in open play and one of those games was against the lowest ranked team left in the tournament. Sums up their current mindset at the later stages of the tournament.
They dived their way to this stage and glad they did not make it as for sure they would be playing for a shootout in the final or even worse a Robben dive would have decided it.

What a snorefest. First game all tournament where I dozed off and on. These games need an early goal to get things cracking. Both teams concentrated on not losing instead of winning. Hopefully there's an early goal by the Germans to bring Argentina out of their shell.
