That's it.

Back when I was in high school girls would send nudes to people all the time. The person who received them would show all his mates.

People can be incredibly stupid or very trustworthy. It's a horrible thing to do to someone but these are 15 year old kids that want to look cool so of course he'll show.

Most of the girls doing it are craving attention and want to be accepted so they'll whore themselves out.

Its like that old saying when people criticize comedians for making fun of aids/ Islam/ ect... Either its all OK to be made fun of or none of it is.

How can we say Nudity is fine to be shared about without permission is OK but me finding a lost phone and sending out photos of someones sons and daughters or house and addresses is not ok.

Ok I get what you're saying. Like I said there's some posts in this thread that miss the point about privacy completely.

They've chosen to go on rants about society's conservative attitude towards nudity and claiming paranoia for pointing out that privacy is easily breached these days and it's sensible to be aware and protect yourself if you're concerned. Didn't expect any less from the boy wonder though that's why his posts are so often champagne comedy. I really hope he posts again.

It is more about your personal stance that everything you do is fair game to be sold on. Personally I dont think so. Im sure jilted women send small dick picks out about their ex's and that is equally as wrong.

There's a lot of comical posts in this thread about how nudity should be fine and people shouldn't be offended. The whole argument of educating people to be more accepting of nudity sounds very similar to the "teach rapists not to rape" argument that's been scoffed at for good reason. The reality is that society doesn't see it that way and that these leaked images have the potential to adversely affect a persons future job and life prospects. Even if it didn't, it's a violation of privacy, I'm sure those naked people in the park in Berlin would feel exactly the same way if pictures of them were uploaded to the internet without their consent to be used as fap fodder.

dunno about public nudity as that could be visual pollution in many cases

with pics though, if you're over 18, who really cares
there's so much nudity on the internet, every second celeb has nude pics out there

after a while any individual would just get lost in the crowd, so so what

that girl who was the daughter of the football coach didnt seem too traumatised by it. she seemed proud of the publicity

The simplest solution to all this is more nudity. Across the board more public nakedness.

If everyone was more relaxed about nuding up then it wouldn't be a big deal if folks saw you in the buff.

Bloody hell in the Tiegarten in Berlin (the equivalent of Hyde park in Sydney) at lunchtime half of the office workers having lunch in the park are stark naked. No one even looks twice.

Europeans have got a much more relaxed and mature attitude to all of this.

People want to steer the conversation towards whether others should be upset or offended. The extensive photo collection i have of my kids would suggest I'm personally not that concerned. All I said was that every photo you take has a risk of being seen/obtained by someone that you might not want to. Photos on your smart phone/tablet or laptop are not as secure as people think.

I wouldn't say I'm "comfortable". Non-plussed would be more apt.

Like I said, how would you possibly know anyway?

It's the perception of danger or wrongdoing that's way out of whack here.

Read somewhere that it's thousands of times more likely that your child will die in a car accident than get abducted on the way home from school and yet parents won't let their kids walk 15 minutes home by themselves.

Crackers is 100% right in this instance.

manshaming. fmitf. grow some balls and acknowledge your own privilege. yeah, life might suck for you, as it does for a lot of men, but it still has enormous advantages over the shit women have to live with on a daily basis.

the message is about changing the focus of intent. the pressure should not primarily be on women to change their behaviour. it should be on men to change theirs.

if you where driving a car and purposefully ran down some child walking on the footpath - who's to blame? are you saying that it's ok to tell people not to walk on footpaths because some drivers cant control their blood lust?

the people killed in the church - so it would be ok if the general warning was - if you are black or in a church than you need to be armed/live in bullet proof glass because some dude might want to mow you down with a gun?

of course people need to be concerned for their safety - but to have a little hate fest on feminist for pointing out the obvious is missing the point. the problem when the oppressed stand up is that they are held to higher standards than the mainstream.
