Thanks for making the changes - blogs appear to be generating quite a lot of discussion now. ;)

It's not impossible to get blogs in here, it's sort of been done elsewhere on some of our other sites. It'll take a fair chunk of time to make sure nothing breaks, all the old comments will be lost (since there's no real easy way to tell you actually made the comments on the blogs), and of course, it's whether or not the higher ups want that integration at all. I need to talk to people about the blogs. This will be part of it now, but it won't be for a fortnight or so.

But have you noticed that you don't need to be signed in your account to comment on blogs? That means they are on a different setup as the articles.
hehe, wait til TWG sees this thread and thinks of the work he'd have to do to implement it.

Plus, it gives a chance for the blogger to weigh in on the discussion. Plus, after you post a comment, how often do you check for responses?

I reckon itd be a good idea. Would make for good sustained topical discussion on key issues.

Yeah, but you still get the articles here. It should just be an addition to the sub-forums for easier access, and as the OP said, to create more discussion.

I really only use the forums and the actual articles. Would be nice if the blogs took their own section of the forums actually.

I quite enjoy reading some of the blogs, but why arnt they open to the forums?
More people would read them and thus generate more discussion.
