Well I do and DH Peligro, along with maybe Jeff Nelson of Minor Threat were the two best drummers in the early hardcore/punk scene. Of course there were better drummers, DK were hardly noted for their proficiency on their instruments. Peligro did what he did well, he was never out to be the best.

Obviously this is going nowhere.
Not all the songs are 2-4 beats. Adios is one example where it's not, the song changes signature three or four times.
But the most important thing to remember is that the drummer isn't there to be fancy in every song. He's there to keep the beat. Which is exactly what Schneider does.

:| He does exactly his job; the same job as every drummer in the world, very simply. And you acknowledge this.

There are plenty of drummers out there that struggle to keep a beat. The guy from Muse is one of them. Always loses the beat when he does a tom roll.

It's the inflection in all your posts. I mean, all jazz did was praise him as a good drummer and you said something inflamatory like 'there are better drummers', as if this was definitive.
