Gotta admire the professionalism of him though, it'd be very easy to succumb to the dick sucking of Real management and half of the squad.
I have to say, this about Bale at the start of the month does look pretty hilarious now :P

The post was about showing our squad depth, so i put him in 'other' as I'm unsure as to who he will replace. I would also be surprised to see him in the starting team for Sunday. then again, this whole process of fitting new players into your XI is a bit foreign for you. ;) Edited by vaughn2111: 31/8/2013 10:21:46 AM

But he really should slot into that spot on the right hand side. Well that's where I'd put him at least

Lamela on the bench, no one seems to know what number he will wear though.

Terrible. No intensity and no forward running. Disgraceful play today, the team should be ashamed. Whatsthe point of having a 26mil pound striker who you can't pass the ball too.
Terrible shooting and terrible passing.
just awful. Thank god for lloris is all I can say.

Nothing's changed. :p Our performance lacked attacking fluidity. The build up from the back was slow, but will be effective. When we get into the attacking third we're harmless. Not enough options through the middle. The defence to midfield and wing play is good though, just need time for the team to gel.

If rumored prices are true Spurs net transfers is +4.5mil so they have actually gained revenue. In terms of the game they needed someone like Eriksen to play where Dembele was, there was no creativity through Spurs centre and they could not create space through. This is a big part down to Arsenal Spurs should be dealing with that if they want Champions League

In the past we've been able to get Arsenal when they put men forward which allows us to counter with pace. This morning however, we would break but then look for a backward option completely wasting momentum and a chance to run at defenders.

Our line-up - Lloris; Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Rose; Dembele, Paulinho; Townsend, Eriksen, Sigurdsson; Soldado.
Our subs - Friedel, Kaboul, Naughton, Holtby, Lamela, Sandro, Defoe. #THFC
Can't wait to see Eriksen. Siggy will play wide right by the looks of it. Will also see Lamela at some stage.
