I think he's feeling the affects of a long season. Chances have not been forthcoming for him lately.

Eriksen has been shite.

So that is the season over, 5th (again) means we at least don't have to go through Europa League qualifying but all in all I am happy with the season. We finally found a goalscorer, made the Cup final, beat Chelsea and Arsenal, developed loads of youth (and a lot of English players) and Poch worked out who he didn't like. We were only 6 points off top 4 in the end though and it is really frustrating to think that had we have won games like Newcastle at Home, Stoke at home and Burnley away we would be celebrating our return to the top 4. The main thing for next year is consistency, we need to stop losing stupid games and need key players (in particular Eriksen) to stop dropping off a month at a time. We also need to get rid of our deadwood as I think it has a huge effect on team morale to have players that would be complaining about the coach around the dressing room.

In other news, here is a couple of stats about Harry Kane's season:
- Harry Kane scored as many goals (31) than Luis Suarez scored last season for Liverpool
- He scored scored more goals than Zlatan Ibrahimovic (30) this season
- He is equal as the most headed goals in the EPL this season (5)

Capoue has officially left for Watford for a club record fee, apparently around 5.7m which would be just over a 3m pound loss. Not too bad seeing he really didn't show much in his time with us.

With Paulinho, Capoue and Holtby gone with Stambouli looking likely to leave, that now leaves Mason, Bentaleb, Dembele and Carroll as central midfield options. Dembele hardly qualifies as a 6 too so that leaves us very weak in that department.

I'm disappointed that Holtby was sold. I thought he was a solid, committed player.

Realistically we sold on players that hardly played so it's no big loss.

Bentaleb has stopped being a jew and signed a new 5 year deal with us. I think our weakness is on the wings with Chadli and Townsend. I think it's time for Townsend to go. Mirallas is a decent player but seems injury prone.

You need definitely need more CM.

If you go into the season with Mason-Bentaleb as your starting CM and your only back up is Carroll-Dembele you will struggle.

Mason looked tired by the end of the season. We need a back-up to him/a player he can back up for.

Alderweireld has signed, good signing. Now a DM and a back up ST and get rid of Kaboul, Vlad, Soldado and Adebayor and I will be happy.

I was devastated that we sold Lewis. Passionate, loyal, committed, engergetic, a good left foot and seemingly a good guy he seemed like the perfect Pochettino player.

TBH I am reasonably satisfied with our wingers. Chadli had a good season and Lamela was getting better bit by bit last year, Townsend is underrated IMO and is a reasonable squad player as long as he doesn't kick up a stink. Plus Pritchard, Yedlin and Eriksen are more than capable out wide if need be.

The pictures of our new stadium look absolutely incredible, largest one tier stand in England (17,000).

Having a partnership we have at CB is great news. I worry for Dier though, he showed real promise last year.

Now we need to get rid of Kabul and Chiriches. Let them go for pennies on the dollar I say!

I may be wrong but I remember when we signed him reading he could play as a DM. Poch could be looking to kill two birds with one stone. Either way with Europa, injuries and the cups I am sure he will still get a good amount of game time because Poch seems to like him.

I'd rather have him at right wing because he's the only player in our team who can actually cross the bloody ball :lol:

Last night was amazing, feels good to have gotten rid of all of the Bale money players who didn't care about the club and have a bunch of young, passionate players you can really relate to. Dier at DM is a managerial masterstroke by Poch, going brilliantly. Alli is a gun, been brilliant. and with Toby we finally look defensively solid. We actually have depth pretty much every where besides up front (and maybe at CB) and heck, we are playing fucking well.

Now watch us lose to Swansea next week.

Funnily I thought Eriksen was terrible on Saturday night. He literally crosses the ball into the first defender like 80% of the time.

Lamela was immense as was Dier and Hugo. Honestly other than Eriksen no one really had a bad game. Son worked hard but couldn't get into the game.

It's been a long time since we played like that for a whole half.

Actually been a very entertaining first 20 minutes, Arsenal winning the midfield battle ATM.
