Can say that about a few WSW players. Looking at you Adeleke and Saba...
Surely Sydney can do much better. Both Adeleke and Saba have been given the nod to field January offers apparently. My understanding is attitude related issues

Agree the league has moved past pace-only players. Surely Sydney would only sign him if desperate and on minimum wage.

Is Gol Gol still contracted to WSW? Yes. He signed a 2.5 season contract in Feb. Still has this season and next season.

He's simply not very good. Not really up to HAL level, and far worse than Ibini who's already very erratic. Back to state league for him.

Supposedly isn't injured, but wasn't in either the NYL squad that played today or the squad travelling to Wellington and there are rumours of a bust up with Popa. Add in the rumour from a few weeks ago about several players wanting to move to SFC, it doesn't surprise me.
He hasn't played a match for WSW since the Al Hilal 2nd leg (where he was subbed off after 49 minutes), only playing in the FFA Cup Match & Rounds 1 & 2 of the A-League, 10 matches without getting on the park. He wasn't (to my knowledge) taken to the CWC and wasn't in that squad even if he was.

They've been mates ever since Appiah was at CCM, and pretty sure they went to school together. If that's the only link then Mack is clutching at straws.

West Sydney Football is reporting that WSW player Kwabena Appiah will be moving to East Sydney. Appiah has been missing from recent WSW games and has been spotted with Bernie Ibini.
