Not my cup of tea, but you probably mean Lord of the Rings instead of the Hobbit trilogy.

LOTR and Star Wars for me. Nolan's Batman is sensational too.

The Hobbit is a massive cgi-filled disappointment. Christ, go back and compare the orcs in LOTR to The Hobbit. LOTR look miles better.

Could never hate the hobbit because I love the book so much, and I like what they've attempted with the storyline, but the CGI has been cringeworthy.

Pierce Brosnan's Bond films. They're easily the worst upon relfection (I highly rate the first 2 Daniel Craig ones, Skyfall not as much), but when i was a young fella they were the ones in the cinemas and they were fucking sick. I'll always remember the Russian dude saying he's invincible before being doused in liquid nitrogen and freezing to death in Golden Eye. Also Denise Richards at her peak.

We used to do family trips to go see the Ocean's Eleven films. And recenrly lad trips to go see the Hangover sequels.

Indiana Jones would've been the greatest movie series all time of they didn't make that terrible 4th one (spose the same goes if they had have just left Star Wars at 3).

And I think a combination of Scream/IKWYDLS/teen thrillers from that era will always have a soft spot for. Even the more recent Scream remake was gold.

But anybody who doesnt think the Dark Knight series isn't the greatest needs a reality check.

I chose Planet of the Apes as I was obsessed with it the most out of the poll choices when I was younger but my favourite is The Gods Must Be Crazy.

If I absolutely had to choose it would be Star Wars, but almost impossible to split that, LOTR, Jurassic Park and Nolan's Batman for me.

Back to the future

Infernal Affairs.

Although the third film wasn't great, it was still enjoyable. More so than the weak sequels at the end of all the options on the list.

Always loved the Indy movies, I never get sick of them. Its unfortunate steven and lucas had to make that utter piece of shit crystal skulls.

They could have worked so much better with Azog.

Star Wars

Got to agree with cgi difference between LOTR and the hobbit.

Star Wars and Lord of the Rings series are very entertaining - but for entertainment and quality on a level rarely achieved, the Bourne trilogy (not the hideous 4th one without Damon though)

The Terminator 1 and 2 were the best from the initial list. T3 lost me a bit and I'm not sure if I've seen any more (if there are any)... Never gor into Star Wars, Indy etc despite them being roughly my generation.

BttF was pretty cool at the time but I'd probably laugh at it now.

Wayne's World was funny though not sure you'd call it a franchise. The Naked Guns are always good for a laugh as are National Lampoons...

You forgot the comedy gold of Police Academy...

Would have thought James Bond would have been a shoe in. I never got into the whole star wars/star trek thing. Runners up for me definitely ocean's and bourne series.
