Cruz panders to retarded bible-thumpers, Shillary panders to "It's time for a women president" voters, Bernie panders to college kids who want free shit, what's your point?

Trump platform is predominately a nationalist one that is against globalisation, and the voters who have been most affected by globalisation are blue-collar whites who feel they've been left behind.

It's no coincidence that the people buying Trump's crap are uneducated. If he actually had a coherent plan to protect the interests of blue collar Americans then it might make more sense. Instead it's basically a constituency of stupid, angry white voters supporting Trump because he's smart enough to say exactly what they want to hear.

The only genuine economic nationalist/protectionist in the race is Sanders.

Trump is anti shitty free trade deals (TPP, TTIP, NAFTA etc), anti shitty trade deals with China, Mexico etc and anti offshoring and h1b visa's - he even threatened a 35% tax on companies who move factories overseas.

1. He barely has a "platform." President Trump simply wouldn't have the power to reverse the TPP or NAFTA, and that 35% tax is a bullshit claim to appease his supporters that would never be practically implemented. Like all his policies, his economic platform is bereft of detail.

2. He was able to expand the business empire that you keep referring to as such a success story via the benefits of globalisation. The only reason he's taking a protectionist stance now is because it's what his supporters want to hear.

You are deluded if you think that Trump actually believes what he's saying; more so if you think there's any chance that his vague ramblings that you call his "platform" would ever be practically implemented.

I will give Sanders credit for the fact that his Presidential platform is based on views he's essentially held for his entire life, whereas Trump's platform is a matter of electoral convenience.

This will teach the champagne socialists a lesson in how the democratic process is corrupted within their own party of choice.

Five people were killed at a restaurant and two at a car dealership. An 8-year-old was reportedly among the dead.....

I can see some rationale in it because those superdelegates are the ones that have to work with whoever is elected. This also is the argument for the 50/50 vote for the Labor party leadership. It just seems nuts when you go through the expense of all these primaries to potentially count for little.

Self defence?

Could you show one example of one instance of any country in the world where the self defence theory has ever worked?

The theory of 'the way to stop a bad man with a gun is for a good man to have a gun' has been proven to be baloney.

I guess fully automatic M60s should be freely available too, considering their firing rate would be so 'effective' in self defence...?
How about hand grenades? Got to be as safe as possible.....

Yes, touché, but you're talking about isolated instances I'm talking about as part of a national strategy, which is also what the gun lobby is talking about.

All shootings: Some 13,286 people were killed in the US by firearms in 2015, according to the Gun Violence Archive, and 26,819 people were injured. Those figures are likely to rise by several hundred, once incidents in the final week of the year are counted.
