Edited by Joffa: 4/1/2015 10:51:15 PM Interesting that you start the thread but don't actually put your own figures in Joffa... Go on, get everyone started. It's a very interesting idea and would be amusing to see what some supporters feel there players are being (or should be) paid.

I think as a whole our players are worth 20% more than what they are currently being paid. Especially when compared to other major Asian leagues. I'm surprised that not more of our players are poached especially after what WSW were able to achieve in asia

Sounds about right jof, in a perfect world though arch's pay cut would take him right down equal with some of the above average earners

God, really makes you realise how tight the salary cap is when you see how many players would have to be making $50k or close to, to make it all fit.

Edited by Joffa: 5/1/2015 12:08:48 AM Anyone over squad number #26 (#23 or #26 - I can't remember) is on a NYL contract and thus doesn't count towards the salary cap.

At a guess, I think the Jerks would roughly be on this (what I personally would pay each one may be a different story):
Mark Birighitti - 120k Scott Neville - 100k Taylor Regan - 70k Kew Jaliens - 200k Ben Kantarovski - 150k Adrian Madaschi - 100k Jeronimo Neumann - 150k Zenon Caravella - 80k Joel Griffiths - 150k Marcos Flores - 150k Andrew Hoole - 100k Sam Gallagher - 80k Edson Montano - 275k Billy Celeski - 150k Josh Barresi - 60k Jacob Pepper - 80k James Virgili - 80k Allan Welsh - 60k Mitch Cooper - 80k Ben Kennedy - 100k Sam Gallaway - 80k David Carney - 150k Brandon Lundy - Youth Nick Cowburn - Youth John Solari - Youth
The only one I'm positive on is Edson Montano, because I know for a fact he's on that. The rest are guesses. I think a lot of people will downplay the effect that length of service would have. For eg: Taylor Regan is by no means our best player, and there are arguments that he should be on the minimum wage or released. But because of how long he has been here, I wouldn't be surprised for his wage to have been increased over that time.

I did it without a salary cap in mind on the assumption that I'd work it down if it was over. It only came to $2.26M
