Because we have planned to play like this for months and you can't just change to a direct style with a snap of the fingers. Suncorp staff have known this tournament has been coming for years and they deserve every bit of abuse. A quality surface should be expected for tournaments like this and hopefully this works against brisbane getting events in the future until they fix their shit.
