Completely with you there. Both of them are boring as batshit. Have you heard the blokes doing the Portuguese league on EuroSport? It's probably even worse.

I give Slater, Harper and Cockerill a lot of shit (...because they are terrible), but they don't even begin to approach the sleepfest that the La Liga and Portuguese league guys do.

I think it's mostly due to the audio balance of the crowd and commentator. In the A-league and Premier League the crowd is much louder which helps the atmosphere. I know the guys commentating these games from other leagues are rarely at the stadium but I'm not sure why they can't mix it a bit better? :k

Pretty sure they do warm ups w/ the crowd before the games. to get to the right pitch

The Serie A commentators on Bein Sport are the fucking worst.

I would love to hear some mexican and middle eastern commentators :lol: hell when we played norwhich , youtube had the highlights in arabic and my word :lol:

Prefer watching them la liga in Spanish tbh if I can find a stream, my own Spanish is fairly ordinary but at least they are getting excited about the match compared to the english commentators. Plus it gives you good incentive to boost your language skills.
