She says Palash-tuk What did she say I took? Just give er a radish. That usually keeps them happy. Polish Polish Polish, Im surrounded by Polish. I have about 40 Polish at my job. On the underground all you hear is Polish. My brother is together with a Pol. Im actually going around to my friends apartment soon.... Polish. You're lucky. Polish chicks, man. Funny, I've never seen as many Gypsies anywhere in Europe than Stockholm, so they stuck out the most for me. Ireland has lots of Polish, they're great. I was living in Dublin when the recession hit, and despite my TV contacts I could only find work as a builder's labourer, working with a bunch of Polish guys. Winter was just starting and there was a pall of misery over the city as everyone knew bad times were ahead; the GFC hit Ireland particularly hard. Coincidentally I took a cheap Ryanair flight to Warsaw because a buddy from Australia was visiting family there, and I distinctly felt a very unstereotypically Polish air of optimism around the place: new malls being built, ads for English and German classes everywhere. Poland was the only EU country that didn't recede in the recession. Went to Krakow in summertime a year or so later and it's stunningly beautiful. That and Copernicus, Curie, and Chopin. They do alright. So does this thread have a point, or?
