Eastern Glory wrote:Surely a proud Westie like yourself would just hit up El Jannah for an anniversary ;) EJs is too fancy for him. And he's can't handle all the Arabs in Granville. It'd give him an aneurysm. A proud Westie would just hit up his other half. Isn't that how it goes down? "WHAT YA MEAN YOU BURNT THE CHOPS, WOMAN! GET BACK IN THAT KITCHEN AND FIX IT. AND BRING ME ANOTHER BLOODY BEER, OR YOU'LL BE GETTING ANOTHER SMACK!"

Would reccomend the Pancake Parlour on Bourke Street for Brekkie tomorrow. Their pancakes are better than Pancakes on the rocks, IMO. And you get unlimited peculated coffee refills for something like $10. But yeah, have fun buddy! :)

Define nice, are you thinking fine dining? There are lots of good restaurants along Southbank near Crown, or head up to Lygon to check out the Italian strip.
Lots of Asian stuff on Little Bourke, or you could see if you can get a table at George from masterchefs restaurant on the corner of exhibition and Flinders.

Yeah as Notor said if you're not worrying about cash, then there are nice restaurants at Crown. There's a Japanese place there that I recommend.

I would have recommended Teppanyaki Inn on Collins if you said she wanted Japanese.
One of the best meals I have ever had in my life.
edit: aboslutely nothing wrong with Kenzan, tho.
