Knockout video: Mike Tyson helps Jamie Foxx select his best KOs


THERE are an awful lot of brutal Mike Tyson knockouts to choose from, so “The Baddest Man on the Planet” is asking for help on behalf of actor Jamie Foxx — who will play the former heavyweight boxing champion in a Martin Scorsese-directed film.

“Help me pick my 10 best knockouts to feature in the Mike Tyson story starring Jamie Foxx and directed by Martin Scorcese,” Tyson captioned a 57-minute video he uploaded that appears to contain all 44 of his knockouts, beginning nearly 30 years ago on March 6, 1985 with his first-round KO of Hector Mercedes.

Actor Jamie Foxx recently discussed a meeting he had about the movie:

“I just went in with Paramount with Mike Tyson. So I’m going to do the Mike Tyson story. Listen, to be in the same room pitching Mike Tyson to Paramount, Mike Tyson is on one side, I’m on the other side and doing Mike Tyson at the same time. And Martin Scorsese at the helm. This will be the first boxing movie that Martin Scorsese has done since Raging Bull.”

Foxx added that Tyson told him that has he’s happy these days because he’s got no money. “No one can take anything from me anymore,” Foxx said Tyson told him. “I’m just so happy that no one is trying to take anything from me. “

Apparently the movie is now at a pre-pre-production stage in which everyone marvels at how badly Tyson used to bludgeon guys.
