I love that in the last few years Brisbane have actually poached a contracted coach and taken two off contract players from MV, MV have taken one off contract coach and two off contract players from Brisbane. They've pilfered more from us but you don't hear about it because we just do this so much better.

Socceroos would blow Victory off the park.

The defensive intensity in BPO of the attacking half of the team would win it for the Socceroos.

BFK's, Archie's , Fink's, lack of defensive work rate would be shown up.

Victory would also struggle defensively out wide.

Coe is an inconsistent keeper too.

Although I do think it's unlikely, didn't Spira buy a house or apartment in Melb a couple years ago? As I am pretty sure before he came to the A-League when playing in Qatar, he bought a house or apartment in Melb and everyone thought he was moving to Melb then. Still think it's unlikely but if he's going anywhere in the A-League it's probably Melbourne.

I don't understand why we'd get rid of all six and get in NPL players on minimum wages, when all the remaining outfield players bar Georgevski (that being Archie, Makarounas and Nabbout) would probably be on or close to minumum wage anyway, and surely one or two of that number will be leaving anyway. It would also leave us with a total of zero goalkeepers, and this may be tactically inadvisable.

Be a good signing but surely they have enough depth there. Unless if they want to bring Spira to the ACL and keep DelPierre for A-League to free up a spot for Finkler.

I can see this hurting Ansell and just general depth. If Spira wants out of WSW I can't really see him anywhere else other than Victory.

He's under contract, stated he wants to test himself again in Europe, so of course those Victorians suddenly think both he and the WSW (no chance) will drop everything so he can join MV? No way.

And highly doubtful MV would want to stack their club with talent and minimum wage squaddies. Would have no depth, no squad rotation, and when also playing in Asia, they'd be goners. Unfortunately they're too smart to put all their eggs in one basket.

If they can keep georgovski they probably rival the Australian team
