Purely speculation, but my best mate saw him at Castle Towers in North West Sydney last week. Very odd place to be for a guy who is on contract in Melboure and is from Melbourne... Also as far as I know his wife isn't from Sydney... And Castle Hill isn't somewhere you'd go on a Sydney holiday.
Juric and Bulut gone... City looking for a different marquee? Who knows.

His Melbourne City contract is the last time he will see marquee wages. I don't think he will take a pay cut. Likewise what is the use of MC paying him out and signing a new player (are you even allowed to do that with cap rules?) .

Yes. As long as it's a mutual termination there's no cap issues. Not sure that would even apply to a marquee though.

Why not? Theyve got pretty solid financial footing, reportedly. If a better option came along I think they could justify the spending.

That's why they ended up with Kennedy and Koren in the first place.

Considering our dismal set piece record I would be happy with this. I guess I'd like to see if there are any marquees on offer at striker. Would be wasteful to pay for him then have him play half a season.
