Saw a friend on facebook became a citizen today, and he posted his pledge. What do people think of our current pledge? Is it fair or slightly bigoted and one dimensional? I don't personally have a view, I just thought people might see it differently.

Pledgers can choose between pledge 1 and 2 depending on whether they would like to swear under God or not.
