+x+xSo I see the U/19's team has games in Taiwan starting 10 Nov that are qualifiers for 2020 u/20 AFC championship. Has the squad been picked for this? It's a shame the u/17 world cup is so soon before it as I could see some of that team, especially Watts, make the step up age groups. Squad is in camp right now. Imagine the team will be announced pretty soon. I guess with the low(ish) level of opposing teams - Taiwan, Macau and Laos - that it will probably be a squad made up of Australian based players and probably not the strongest squad we can send. I'd expect players like Watts and Botic etc to make a claim for the squad going to the AFC finals next year (assuming we qualify)

The players must be barely spending anytime with their clubs

Nigeria is always an unfair game as they cheat with their fake birth certificates. They use fully grown men to compete in an U-17 WC.

I’m thinking draw vs Ecuador, win over Hungary, loss to Nigeria. finish 3rd in group but miss out on next stage on goal difference.

+x+x+x+xOlyroos played a friendly against Qatari League 2 side Lusail Club, winning 2-0. That sounds reasonable They play Iran u23 on Monday Olyroos lost 2-1. Panos scored a penalty for us. If they were playing against a full strength side that’s a really promising result.

+x+xSuper vague article. I wonder what happened. After the FFA investigation of the Stajic debacle, who the hell would trust them to handle any investigation transparently and with due process. Especially when, as the article states, the investigation took months to complete due to its ‘’complexity”. Maybe it took a while to get the surveys back Nothing to see here , please move along ......

+x+x+xSuper vague article. I wonder what happened. Sounds like a boys night out with unacceptable behaviour. Just another great culture under Arnold. Come at me sydneyfc87. Maybe but I'd reckon it's more to do with the culture that existed at Heartle$$. 3 players involved were contracted there. The other will most likely get blasted by 2 of the 3 Tony's at BHP Western Australia. But if McGree was installed as Captain of the Olyroos then there is a culture problem. The other big issue is that this is for Olympic Qualifying and future funding is dependant on results and appropriate behaviour.
