Some of the passing, and in particular through the 3 central midfielders, was awesome during that first half. Haven´t seen such crisp interplay at underage level in the green and gold before.
Our wing backs aren´t threatening going forward so far, they are sitting quite deep, but I think we could really exploit vietnam with the wing backs pushing on in he 2nd half.
Standouts so far have been Deng, Edwards, O´Neill and Amini
Need to lift their game: Geria, Gersbach and Hoole. I rate all of these guys, but that was certainly not one of their best shifts

Much better balance in this team and it shows, keeping the ball and attacking better, just the final ball has let us down and some poor finishing.
Although this is probably the weakest team in the group we have faced.

I dont know why people here hate on Vidmar so much. They're playing exactly how you want them to play. Short passing and attacking. They're just not individually very skilled at it and lack creativity. Crosses are poorly directed, decision making is one dimensional and telegraphed. Luckily Vietnam arent very good but it shows how Olyroos want to play.

Passing in the final third has been nice, some beautiful play out the back. Although at times a little slow in movement causing defenders to lose posession of the ball. We well deserve the lead at the break. Should be 2 really. Vietnam threatened a couple times, but it is clear we are the better side.

Deng started a bit shakey but has been great since. Borrello and Hoole need to do more. Amini has been very good. Edwards provides a lot of running. There central defender, number 4, who went off injured was playing very well, a big loss for them.

Higashi wrote:Really impressed with O'Neill. Hope he retains his starting spot at SFC when he gets back. Yep agree, with O Neill. Armini And Geria are playing well too. Armini is linking well with Mclaren. And we are seeing more of an attacking style of football. Hopefully Armini dont get another yellow.

Defensively he´s done his job, but got caught on the ball a few times badly and has disrupted the fluidity of our passing at times

Edwards and Amini in the midfield is a good combination.

Question, has anyone been able to access the stream via the AFC hub YouTube channel or only via the link provided by the Socceroos Facebook page? I'm only the latter and can't find any live event stream via the YouTube page.

Works for me here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBOGtEChqWkEdit: realised what you may be referring to; the live event stream is not showing on the AFC page because the link is unlisted, so it can only be watched through direct link.
