U19 v Laos should be streamed here, 7pm aedt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdKSvz7L03U
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Thanks for that. Did anyone ever see a full listing of the squad? And has anyone seen any news on the U/23 squad that is supposed to be heading off to China this international break?

+xended 2-2. Pretty terrible result, did we get a red card early on? Yes. Not sure who. Someone missed a penalty. Thailand beat northern Marianas 21-0. Perhaps our boys are out of season compared to Northern Asian teams. Still #GVE_Out

Eh Laos aren't great but you can't compare them to Northern Mariana or Guam. They were probably the biggest threat in this group.
Still a bad showing from us but at least they showed some ticker and got back to 2-2.

It appears the vast majority of our players from the 2018 U20 AFC Championship (12 months ago, how time flies) would be overage now? Plus a lot are in club season. I don't notice any of the names in this squad and the is surely another bunch who've barely played any matches let alone together?

Just noticed last year we had a lot of players born 99 and 00 and they're very exciting. Give these 01 02 borns currently in Taiwan 2 more years and hopefully a championship qualification to really know how they are. I'm looking forward to the current Joeys coming through.
The Laos draw here puts us under pressure. Van Egmond needs to go.

Can forget that WC then.

Can forget that WC then. thats what happens when there is no continuity of players from national U15 through to Socceroos, the merry go round of changing coaches and not having one coach carry a team through from U15s to U23 (at minimum) to build team harmony, understanding, belief and most importantly pride and passion for your country. This happens across all our NPL youth leagues as well

They probably thought these matches would be easy wins and save the foreign based players for the AFC championship. But I could be wrong

There's got to be a set of decent overseas players. I'm enjoying discovering all these new young players and following their progress.
