GOAL! Brook again the creator sliding a perfect through-ball through to Lopane who has the composure to square it to Wood for a tap-in.
Olyroos lead 2-0.

FT: Olyroos win 3-2.
Happy to get the win with our C Team, and a game well worth staying up for.

Looks like Brook has improved from his time at Brentford because the way he went past some of the Indonesian defenders was delightful, Italiano showed his quality again this time as a No.10 which suits him more and scored an awesome goal.
A good win and maybe we should have won more if they didn’t conceded some of the goals especially the 2nd one but they played some nice football and their possession had a purpose which often isn’t the case when we played in Asia especially at youth level so that was a nice change.
How does the tie breaker work if Indonesia beat us in the next game?

Italiano needs to either claim a permanent Gladbach reserve spot or get out elsewhere. Tired of these football farms with massive squads. Find a league with thinner squads and get plenty of minutes. Brook has done well at Brentford but I also hope for a League One first team loan in winter. Push on.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesia_national_under-23_football_teamOur squad much younger on average. They have a decent range of players aged 22 but also some real young ones in squad.

That Brook pass for the second goal! Isn't this the astro pitch we had the qualifier on?

+xBrook has done well at Brentford but I also hope for a League One first team loan in winter. Push on. After his performance tonight I’m actually wondering how he’s doing at Brentford B. It’s particularly hard to judge as they don’t play in any leagues, they just play friendlies year-round, so there’s very little consistently in terms of stats that could tell a story.
Is he anywhere near first team calculations at all? Genuinely no idea.

Just watched the highlights in 360p. Looks like we controlled most of the match, but in the end it took some individual brilliance to win the game, which is a bit concerning.
Brook, Miller, Italiano looked very lively. Monge looked very good as well, for someone focusing on his studies according to WSW.

How does the tie breaker work if Indonesia beat us in the next game? According to qualification tiebreakers on the Wiki page, if Indo were to beat us by 1 goal next game I think it would go to penalties? I stand to be corrected however. Would they bother with extra time, or just straight to shoot-out?

+xHard to believe suman is the starting keeper. Based on last night would have to agree. However, Tokich failed to defend for the second goal.
