Oar thinks he's to good for A league but the way things are going looks like it might be his only choice. A little bird told me Wanderers and Victory are heavy favourites to snare this one.

EPL & Championship starts in a few days - as I said before he will be back in the a-league in no time. "im not totally surprised - they were in talks with utrecht for him a couple years ago" it was a source for that bit...

While we patiently wait to find out tommy's new club, this may help pass the time.

there's chatter on the brighton hove albion forums about tommy oar.
supposedly some of the coaching staff have been over to holland to talk to him. Using my amazing private eye skills, i conclude he is signing with brighton hove albion! BHA = nike kit / Ipswich = adidas kit. #Nike logic Oar to Leeds is blowing up on Twitter

can't see him going anywhere now and being a first 11 player, he's taken way too long. He will be lucky to be a regular by January. If anyone was serious about him they would have signed him July 1.

from what ive been reading, there's a lot of waiting for the copa america to wind down before a whole bunch of signings are made. my bet is that oar has some lower clubs offers but he is waiting on some bigger clubs who probably dont have him as first pick and he has to see how things play out.

Not saying the Championship is crap but it's not somewhere he's really going to develop his game much more or improve as a player. Maybe fitness wise. Germany should be his aim! 1. the championship would probably be in the top ten leagues in europe. 2. ipswich was in the mix for promotion last season. 3. its probably the best way for him to make his way to the PL while still getting game time. a lot of clubs would see the gruelling championship season as a significant step up in difficulty from the eriedivisie. if ipswich make it this year he is there, if they dont cut it and he's great then he can luongo his way up.
