Also Breaking Bad is another that flew under the radar.

Also even though it really is comedy in it's most simple form, Blue Mountain State always made me laugh Agreed 100%. The League is one of my all time favourite comedies, the in jokes and and references they run throughout the show are brilliant, it's a shame more people haven't seen it. I can always rewatch The League and BMS without getting bored, any scenes with Thad Castle or Rafi just never fail to make me laugh. Rafi is the funniest character ever on tv. I am hoping for one last episode with the backstory of him and Dirty Randy. Do you Rake fans realise that it is just a toned down version of his real life? Edited by crusader: 8/8/2015 05:44:45 PM

Thought they would have lost the sparkle in season 2 when the guy who played Peter Gregory died, but it was just as funny. Yeah it was. I did get annoyed by some of the absolutely bone headed decisions Richard was making in series 2 but they introduced some brilliant characters that I really enjoyed. The "three commas" guy and the "I'm not an attorney" guy were the best  The way they ended season 2 should make 3 very interesting. Ha! loved 3 comma's. Even though it didnt have a 'mean jerk time' style joke, I loved the Condor bit for the finale. They started it mid season and I thought it was just another way to expose the weedy guy to some insults, but those scenes of the dude trapped and waiting for help while everyone watch on trying to keep the stream live were pretty great.

thanks for the tip on mr. robot. i watched the first episode last night and it was pretty outstanding. great to see a show with some balls. Yeah I really can't agree more with this recommendation, every single mate I've put onto it has been hooked right from episode one. Only Seven episodes in now and it's already been renewed for a second season, I reckon this is going to get really popular soon.

Also, Attack on Titan doesn't fit the "unknown" show label

"Face it Dinesh, you're gay for my code. You're code-gay"
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Marco Polo could have been better with it's production value. Yeah, Vikings is sensational for the budget it would have. Some of the acting is fantastic. I'm only three episodes into Marco Polo, but so far it seems like it's well worth watching. vikings is terrible. neighbours level acting. it's a waste of a great idea. maybe ok if you're really desperate - i would put it in the same category as heroes.

Season 1 & 2 of The Life and Times of Tim were awesome, one of my all-time fave comedies, but it seems to be pretty much unknown.
Party Down was also pretty good but didn't get much attention

Yeah, I got into 'Peep Show' starring David Mitchell and co, for a little while. Guys, I really recommend the Belgian TV Series, 'Cordon' (Careful when clicking IMDB link to avoid spoilers) - If you like Genre stuff, then you may like this. It was on SBS, earlier in the year - including via SBS On-Demand. Sadly it's no longer on there and infact, it expired on SBS On-Demand a few weeks or so ago! #-o Thankfully, some kind soul has uploaded on Vimeo and there are many uploads of the episodes via Youtube aswell. BTW FTR, so word as of yet, if there will be a Season 2 - sadly, at this rate, it doesn't seem likely - surprisingly so. It may or may not have something to do with the fact it's already been adapted to the US market, re-made as 'Containment' - A US adaptation of this doesn't interest me one bit - I only care to see this story, with these characters and this setting, continue and run their course. Shame if it doesn't. https://vimeo.com/108386137The Belgian Trailer, but this one actually has English subtitles. I prefer this trailer to the BBC one. BTW The theme to show is addictive and perfect for the genre/setting. http://www.eyeworks.tv/countries/belgium/local_productions/local_productions_item/t/cordonEdited by GloryPerth: 4/8/2015 01:34:25 AM

Rake is one of the best series I've ever seen. Series 3 was a little disappointing in quality in my opinion, but still good.
