All the long-standing threads should be reinstated. It was an overenthusiastic anti-spambot which has been sent back to the anti-spambot factory for reprogramming.

I think the cause needs to be investigated. Much like the spam attacks this is pretty worrying.

really gutted about this, always enjoyed following these specific threads.

It 'seems' stickied threads have been targeted?! Or have there been other threads deleted too?! Just read that the Australian Politics Thread has also been deleted.

I'll just add my belated voice to the chorus - we need more exclusive or restrictive access to these forums - Spam bots shouldn't be anywhere near our forums/sub-forums, let alone the capability to post and, it seems, remove stuff from them!

If anything, more drastic action may need to be taken, if they are behind this - like a temporary moratorium on new member sign-ups aka dis-able or prevent new member sign-ups for a period till you guys can figure out a way to improve/upgrade the new member approval process. I say this as to be honest we don't get too may 'genuinely new' members around here or haven't in some time (Who aren't just multis or re-joiners), so it may not hurt as much as some may think? It's also pre-season now, so the harm/fall-out may be less, than if it were in the midst of the A-League season.

What has happened to the 'Season 2015/16: A-League Club Memberships Thread' that a number of members in AF have maintained? Is there some change or revision at FFT now?! I don't get it - we fans have been creating and updating such threads for a few seasons now. If it's something to do with copyright or something (I uploaded and posted/shared the 'A-League.com.au's' tally image - albeit credited) - then I can stop doing that? I don't understand, why, after a few seasons of doing so, you guys have suddenly just upped and removed/deleted the thread?! :?

Edit: I see the 'TV Ratings' and 'A-League Crowd Predictions' threads are gone too?! :shock:
