I liked this thread when you posted articles but seems they have run out so now you have turned to trolling, which apparently this thread is not.
Fickle is committing to not supporting your team financially, and changing your mind when you're 2 and 0. They deserve shit for this. You do know they are no where near the memberships they had last season? Their Memberships went up after the first game and now their 3 games are out which is the increase. All i heard from their supporters were they would still attend the games but wont become members which they did on the weekend, they only had around 4k before the game on the weekend of the 14k attendance. Don't know why im defending them, just dont feel the need to try and find negative shit just for the sake of it. Jesus, a VIctory fan defending us now i've seen it all. Many people were just waiting for the 3 game memberships to come out, which they have hence the big boost in numbers.

Concern for Membership numbers seem to a very Victorian thing (must be why 'pet membership' comments keeps occurring) The whole Roar "I won't renew" theme came out of a few scenarios 1. Roar fans refusing to give the Bakries their money because they were shit owners 2. Roar fans who honestly thought that the FFA wouldn't carry on a Brisbane team 3. Roar fans who honestly thought the FFA wouldn't honour the memberships if the FFA took over. 2 & 3 are just the laughables who've got absolutely no idea what's going on 1 are those that have suddenly decided " What elephant ? " You are just imagining what you want you want to believe is true. Bottom line.Fans didn't renew membership ,but turned up to the game. The fact it will cost more if rebelling members go to every game is irrelevant .It was the act of not renewing which sent the message. Message received loud and clear. Now the fans are doing what they said they would,at greater cost to themselves. The opposite to fickle fans.

Man the fans can do whatever they want, I just want to see Corona keep slicing and dicing up mid fields and defenses. (except when you play SFC.) Broich has lost a few yards but wont take long for oppositions to start double teaming Corona, then when Broich hasnt got a triple team to beat he will start terrorisng again.
It looks like a win/win for Aloisi no matter who the opposition coach tries to stop.

So judging by the sudden surge in memberships does that mean a lot of those fans put winning the first two games above their personal position of 'not buying a membership until the Bakries go'?
I hope they remember how fast they change when things go bad :) Not that they will because this team under Aloisi is going places, and by places I mean Robina for the second half of the season. Jokes, great team, nice squad, just lose that diver Broich...xxooxxoox let's chat tomorrow, bye.

No, it means that the three game memberships have been released in the last week. As has been mentioned multiple times already...

They sure do. So now the same owners are getting more money. OKayyyyyy Hmmm :-k Except that they're not. One membership in the Den = $250. One walk-up ticket = $28. The only way Bakries end up with more is if those walk-ups go to the majority of games this season, and even then it's a delayed payment for the Bakries.

Actually, the MV mods don't get butthurt over a bit of banter and can dish it out in return. You go apeshit when anyone dares to chat shit about the almighty Brisbane Roar who have single handedly kept Australian football alive and are by far the greatest team the world has ever seen. When people on here post some banter about Adelaide, I either laugh it off or come back with my own.

Are you having a good time mate shitting all over the Roar and their supporters? Might change my Avatar to an MV, then it'd all be just #bantz eh ? If I lie, point it out If I talk nonsense, ignore it If the hat fits, wear it Just cos Marco hasn't done an article about the #bakriesout tantrums disappearing without trace in less than a fortnight. I don't care if it's the orange franchise or some other Wiggle Flip-flop bandwagoners is a direct consequence of creating pop-up teams in a fake league. No surprise when you get FIFO owners who see their customer base as just one of a number of Assets rather than the point of it all.

I'd argue it's a bit more than "a bit of banter" but whatever. As other blokes have said you can't win the argument with this peanut anyway. If you don't turn up at the games you don't care, if you do go you're a flip flopping badnwagoner etc etc. Blah blah blah.

Putting my tin foil hat for a minute but maybe you were right PaulC. This thread goes for 40+ pages and this one http://au.fourfourtwo.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=110178 is locked after 2. WTF?
